Amidst the pandemic's challenges, I discovered solace in creativity, transforming my emotions into a beacon of hope. Inspiration blossomed in Tennessee, USA, where I've had the privilege of residing for a few months. I gathered a stone from my surroundings, and through a transformative process, I turned it, along with my body, into instruments of art.
With each gentle brushstroke of ink onto the stone, I scraped and moved it across ten textured watercolor papers for over half an hour. The stone's weight symbolized my emotional burden, gradually lifting as it imprinted its presence on the paper. Through this visceral process, I liberated myself from the weight that had been holding me back.
This artwork embodies my cathartic journey, a testament to the profound healing power of creativity. By transposing my mental landscape onto paper, I freed myself, emerging stronger and more resilient. This piece celebrates the transformative impact of art on our lives.
