Memory Series
I have spent a part of my childhood in Libya, where I had an opportunity to see the ruins of ancient Roman sites like Leptis Magna and many more. Ancient architecture, sculptures and their ruins highly provoked my thoughts. I imagined myself wandering those places when they were at the height of civilization. Even after adulthood when I visited Pompeii, ancient Rome, Greece, Egypt and many more such places, the ruins and the texts made me feel like - my own stories are written in stones. All of us are carrying the same sorrow and happiness as those ancient people.

The forms of my painting are the broken pieces of my cherished memories. All the lines in between these floating forms are traces of my existence and emotion. I want to relate to both times. I think technological advancements will not change the consequences or basic emotions of mankind.
